Exploring the City as cyclist with Bal Kumar Shrestha
In the times like covid where every person felt like trapped in four walls, for Mr. Shrestha, cycling gave him a space and a freedom to move beyond it, take detours and connect more with the surroundings. What became a simple habit soon became his passion. From the hustling in finance to a monthly escape to different destinations, it has slowly turned into a lifestyle.
Along with his friend, Mr. Shrestha goes on a monthly trip on his cycle around Kathmandu to beautiful locations be it Shivapuri or Chisapani or Kulekhani. Now he has stepped into a challenge for himself and says, “I plan to compete in the Professional Cycling tournament ‘KORA Challenge’ this year”.
