MAW Vriddhi Future Tech, established in 2026 as a division of MAW Group is Nepal’s first and only authorized distributor of Unitree Robotics. The initiative was founded with a clear vision: Nepal should not only observe the global robotics revolution, but actively participate in it.
Across the world, artificial intelligence, automation and robotics are no longer future concept; they are present-day realities shaping how people learn, work and interact. Robots are now being used in education, healthcare, corporate environments, public services and brand engagement. MAW Vriddhi Future Tech introduces this evolving ecosystem to Nepal through practical, real-world applications rather than conceptual demonstrations. The focus goes beyond showcasing technology, with robotic systems used in events, education, healthcare, and public sectors to enhance engagement, learning, service, and innovation-driven outreach.
There are two types of robots being deployed. The Unitree G1 humanoid robot is used for guest welcoming and VIP reception, event hosting and emcee support, dance and entertainment performances, audience interaction and photo opportunities, product reveals and brand storytelling, and interactive teaching in classrooms. Similarly, the Unitree Go2 quadruped robot is designed for dynamic movement and agility demonstrations, stage reveals and product escort roles, security and patrol simulations, live showcases at exhibitions and technology fairs, and STEM engagement activities in schools.
In a short span of time, these robots have been deployed across a wide range of industries and events, including engagements with Yamaha Nepal, Vivo, Honor Mobile, Laxmi Lube Oil, MAW Motors, Vishwakarma Lab and Oleg Medical. From one-day activations to large-scale corporate expos, each deployment has consistently created strong engagement and lasting recall. A major milestone was participation in the Cultural Exchange Program at the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu, where four robots were showcased before diplomats and guests, highlighting robotics as a universal medium of interaction beyond language and culture.
A notable milestone includes a deployment in Darchula, where robotics was introduced in a classroom setting at Asian Academy. In one of Nepal’s most remote regions, students gained direct exposure to advanced technology, transforming abstract learning into hands-on experience.
Thus, MAW Vriddhi Future Tech is not just about robotics. It is about bringing intelligence, interaction and opportunity closer to Nepal’s future.
