Message From The Managing Director

Message From
The Managing Director

Warm greetings!

When we launched the first edition of MAW Pulse ‘Rhythm of Growth’ earlier this year, our intention was simple- to create a platform that connects people, stories and experiences across the MAW Group. The response we received reaffirmed that this initiative has become more than a newsletter; it has become a reflection of who we are as an organization.

With the second edition, “MAW PULSE – In the Tunes” we continue strengthening that connection. MAW Pulse is envisioned as a shared space where ideas, achievements and experiences from across our businesses come together, helping us learn from one another and move forward as one team.

At MAW, “People First” is not only one of our core values but a principle that shapes our everyday actions and decisions. By strengthening connections, encouraging collaboration and learning from one another, we continue to grow stronger together while sharing our culture and values with customers and partners who are part of our journey.

As Nepal continues to evolve with new opportunities and possibilities, MAW remains committed to contributing meaningfully to this journey of growth and progress.

Thank you for your trust, dedication and continued contribution. Together, let us continue building, growing and moving forward.

I hope you enjoy reading this edition.

Best regards,
Vishnu Kumar Agarwal

I write this as a Chartered Accountant with an MBA, working as a Business Analyst at MAW Earthmovers, and newly married. In a short span, I have taken on the roles of wife and daughter-in-law, alongside my professional responsibilities. I know more roles will come, and I accept that I will not always get the balance right. Still, I continue to show up—at work and at home—because both matter.

Nepal’s economy is largely agriculture-based, with most people dependent on farming for their livelihoods. While the sector holds strong potential, sustainable economic growth—especially in rural areas—remains a challenge. Traditional donor-driven development models and vocational programs have often produced short-term results, limited alignment with local labor market needs, and long-term dependency. Many initiatives collapse once external funding ends, highlighting the need for a shift toward a locally sustainable system.

IT IS A GRADUAL PROCESS, YET INEVITABLE

It is an honor to be accepted.

Yes! This step in entering into digital space has been successful as the response, viewership, and readership of e- newsletter initiative with, launch edition- MAW PULSE- Rhythm of Growth has been overwhelming. While the presence of our printed newsletter was experienced being passed on from hand to hand, the latest publication adapting to the digital world was found shared, liked and commented on different platforms, amplifying the impact it could make.

Both, the purpose and impact of digitalization is information communication and exchange, leading toward increased awareness. We felt the acceptance to transition into the digital world that inculcated richer storytelling and provided enriched experience to our audience. We as a company continue with our commitments from contributing to greener and cleaner cities being the pioneer of electronic vehicles in several segments to a cleaner space, where the e-newsletter played an important role in reducing paper use.

The heart of the newsletter has remained the same, guided by our core values that have shaped us over the journey of decades. People of our organization being first priority together makes the collective effort from across several business units for customerization. We continue to maintain the trust among our stakeholders by consistently delivering.

MAW PULSE- In the Tunes, second edition is here to continue what has been accepted and now expected by the audience, a collaborative journey of technology, information, and engagement.

This is one way. A good beginning is half done.
